Our vision & the mission
“Engineering reliability into the standard.”
HoldOver envisions a future where protective systems are no longer disposable or static, but engineered to adapt, endure, and support evolving equipment over time.
“Built for Readiness”
Our mission is to design modular protective case systems that improve readiness by removing failure points and ensuring dependable performance .
Who we are
HoldOver is a veteran-led and owned company focused on the design of modular protective systems. Our work is informed by experience across defense, medical, IT, and industrial environments, where equipment reliability, adaptability, and lifecycle performance matter more than appearance.
We approach protective cases as systems, not accessories. That means designing for setup, use, and recovery, eliminating failure points, reducing friction, and enabling equipment to adapt as requirements change.
Our first product, PinnedDown™, is the initial expression of that philosophy: a modular protective case system designed to replace static interiors with adaptable, engineered retention.
Our Founder & CEO
Jonathon R. Nagyiski is a U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering veteran whose career has focused on building, maintaining, and managing systems where failure is not an option. His experience spans federal infrastructure, real estate, and engineering portfolios across defense, medical, and public-sector environments.
Across deployments, humanitarian engineering missions, and years of federal service, Jonathon saw the same issue repeated: critical equipment is often protected by static systems that do not adapt as requirements change. That gap between readiness and reality is what led to the creation of HoldOver.
HoldOver is the result of an engineering mindset shaped by lifecycle thinking, designing systems that perform from initial deployment through final recovery. The company’s first product, PinnedDown, reflects that philosophy by treating protective cases as engineered systems, not disposable accessories.
